Friday, June 8  7-9pm Reanna Maitland (RYT-200) will guide yogis into relaxing, restorative yoga poses supported by props where Nicole Starker Campbell (Reikimaster, RYT-200) will offer hands-on reiki treatments. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (rei) which means “universal life” and (ki) which means “energy”. Reiki helps to balance energy in the body, and a treatment can assist in easing tension, strengthen the immune system to promote health, reduce stress in the body and mind, and help decrease physical pain. The combination of passive stretching, stillness, and energy work provide a deeply restorative practice for body and mind. Our last session sold out so be sure to reserve your spot online! www.lahariyoga.ca/workshops

In 2008 I wandered into a yoga class at my local gym and found an amazing stillness that has captivated me ever since. I believe yoga can help us connect authentically with ourselves and others, help us heal our bodies and minds, and help us find that sweet spot of balance in our lives. Yoga is one of the greatest joys, challenges, and teachers in my life and I will be a lifelong student and practitioner.

I was privileged to complete my sattva yoga teacher training (RYT-200) with Rameen Peyrow, yin yoga teacher training with Carly Forest and Learn to Teach Meditation training with Mandy Trapp. I continue to learn from the many amazing teachers (yoga and writing and life teachers) who have shared their wisdom with me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to walk this path of yoga with others who are on their journey.

You can find me at Lahari Yoga in St. Albert where I teach Sattva, Yin, Restorative, Soul Yoga, and workshops.
